I think there may be a 2010 problem with Wordfast classic.

I translate FR->EN only. Over the last couple of days I've been noticing that the language of my target segment was being set to French which is my source language. It seemed to happen randomly so I compared the header of the TMs that were doing it to those that weren't and there are two major differences:

1) The bad ones were created or reorganised in 2010 (the date in the first header field seems to be the one causing the problem)
2) They have an extra % sign in front of the source language code (%%FR-FR instead of %FR-FR)

Just to confirm, I set my computer date to 2009 and reorganized one of the "bad" TMs. Sure enough, my target segments were now set to English and the extra % sign was gone. I then reset it to 2010 and reorganized again. The extra % came back and my target segments were once again French!

Terry

Which version of WF Classic? Jan 6, 2010

Hi Terry,
which version of WF Classic do you use? Is it the latest (5.61) or one of the previous ones?

Test Jan 6, 2010

I have made a test with my version (5.53) and did not encounter this problem. I would update to the latest version and/or contact the WF support.
