I'm working on a Word format project with several files, and I need to deliver my client both the clean translated Word files, and the TM of the whole project. Im a Mac user and I've been using WFA CAT tool for a few months now. I also have OmegaT but barely ever use it. My client is PC-based and uses Trados and SDLX. Once Im done working the project under WFA, what format / procedures/conversion should I use to make sure the TM will be fully compatible with SDLX and/or Trados...?

Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Douchka

Export to tmx Apr 17, 2010

I don't know about the mac version, but should be the same as for pc. Click on the TM editor icon and then tools. Select Export TM to tmx under Special filters and name the file and save it.
TMX is the standard format for TM exchange.
Hope it works.

Regards
Heinrich
