WF Pro refuses to "commit" certain segments

I hope this explanation makes sense.

I am translating a survey. The survey has answers such as "choose between 1-5". So naturally, I have segments as follows:
Source(pretend it's in JPN font) Target (English font)
1 1
2 2
3 3
4 4
5 5

Here's where it gets annoying. I previously just "copied the source". Bad idea. There's a font difference. So for my most recent work, I've gone ahead and actually typed in the correct "1", "2".....but it still keeps leveraging them with the old Japanese font.

Why is it refusing to commit my "new" "1", "2" in English font?

BTW this also happened in another segment:
タイプA Type A
No matter how many times I typed "Type A", it kept translating as "タイプA" in the target. I also have auto-prop turned off, btw.


*I could just create a new TM or do "find/replace" for the whole document, but I shouldn't have to. Also I'm sure I'll run into this for a bigger problem so I would like to know a legit fix.

Dear PT,

As far as I can see in the TM you sent, you have some segments with placeables, but those without placeables appear first because source segments are without placeables. If you like, you can clean your TM in any TM editor. Make sure of the priority of TMs if you have more than one. Again, you can use Alt+Right to select other matches, if you have more than one.
