source and target segments separating on page breaks

I recently upgraded to wordfast classic build 5.92 and have noticed a new annoying feature that, being technically challenged, I don't know how to turn off or change. When I'm near the end of a page the source segment stays on the end of the previous page and the target segment displays on the next page, meaning I have to scroll up to read 3 or 4 words, scroll down to type the translation, etc. This is especially annoying with lengthier segments, and god forbid when it happens on a footnote. When I'm near the end of a page the source segment stays on the end of the previous page and the target segment displays on the next page, meaning I have to scroll up to read 3 or 4 words, scroll down to type the translation, etc. This is especially annoying with lengthier segments, and god forbid when it happens on a footnote. A few times I've been sorry my computer didn't come with a handle because I'd have liked to have grabbed it and flung it far, far away. This never happened on the previous build of wordfast (running on windows xp with the same version of ms word).

I don't know if this is an issue with wordfast or with word 2003 in general (have not upgraded this yet) and how it interfaces with the Windows 7 professional that came preinstalled on the new machine, and I won't even get started on that operating programme...

Has anyone had a similar problem (and then fixed it)? ▲ Collapse
