Hi,

I received a TMX file from a Trados translation. I was asked to import it into my Wordfast cat. I have no Trados on the computer I am using currently.

I can open the TMX file, but I can't safe the file because I there is just a "view" tab no "safe" tab.

I downloaded Olifant but when I open Olifant, I can't see that TMX file either.

How can I get the TMX into Wordfast?

Please share your wisdom and experience.

Pristine

I guess you are using WFC and have it installed under MS-Word.
Save the tmx-file to disc, into your memories folder.
Click on the green icon for Wf in the Word toolbar.
Click on the f-icon (setup).
Under TM select "Select TM".
Browse to the memories folder and view "all files" = *.*.
Open the tmx-file.
Wf will convert the file to txt and use it as the active TM.

This TM can also be used in Pro.
