Problem Aligning Asian Languages with Plustools
Thread poster: quesomas

Hi everyone!

I'm new to this and trying to learn the basics of Wordfast and Plustools for my job. My current problems is when I go to align the English with an Asian language (Chinese and Japanese are what I'm working with), the first part of the Asian translation goes missing in the alignment. Please note that there are two sentences in the paragraph that gets split into two rows during the alignment. Is it the strange "periods" the Asian languages use that's not recognized?

Is there something I can do? I hate to guess, especially since it's a language I can't even begin to guess with.

Any insight would be very helpful. Thanks.
