Overcoming a previously applied TM

Dear Colleagues,

I'd much appreciate any suggestions about how to solve a problem with the TM in Wordfast. I am working on a very large project of 4 different batches of similar documents. The first 3 batches of files were fine, but when the Project Manager converted the Word files into txmls for the 4th batch, somehow she applied the wrong TM (they were somehow translated to European Portuguese and I need Brazilian). Now the PM is saying that she doesn't know how that happened and I honestly think she could care less that I will have to erase about 5 thousand translations units by hand. I already sent her my own TM so she could reconvert the files and she said the same thing happened. So my question is, does anybody know how I can apply my own TM to the 4th batch of files so I can maintain consistency with the 3 prior batches, and overpower the TM that she applied? I really, really don't want to have to erase all those translation units one by one!

I also have the original word documents for the 4th batch, can someone explain to me how to convert those files into txmls by myself using my own TM? I guess that could be a option too.

Any suggestions appreciated!!!

Use the original Sep 23, 2011

To convert the original file into a txml and apply your TM, just do this:

Open Wordfast
Go to File
Click on Open Project and select the project you want to work with.
Go to File
Click on Open File, look for your original file and click on open.
You have now created the txml for the file.
Now press Ctrl+Shift+End (Translate All) and that will apply your TM to the file
