Hello, I use WF+Google on some projects and have noticed last weekend that the MT was disconnecting every 3 to 5 segments. Every time I get the "failed to get leverage. This TM will be disconnected..." message. I then re-activate the MT and it gets me 3-5 segments again... Anybody else ran into this issue?

I noticed this issue 1 or 2 weeks ago, while working with WF Classic. My error message is: run-time error -2146697208.

Google Translate now a paid service Oct 13, 2011

The problem could be related to the fact the Google Translate is no longer free. See http://www.proz.com/forum/sdl_trados_support/209594-google_translator_not_working_in_studio.html

Yes, now it's paid Oct 14, 2011

The problem with WF is, however, that so far there's no field in the software to paste in the code you receive from Google. Now they charge $20 per 1M characters, as far as I remember.

I've contacted WF Suppor with the same problem & here is the answer I've received:

"Here is the explanation:
Google recently changed the way the translation module works and this caused bug in our application. We're working on the fix, which should be available in the next release."

Hi all,

This will be addressed in WFP 2.4.4 which should be released in the next week or so. This version will allow you to enter your API key if you have chosen to pay for Google Translate. I will notify this forum when the new version is available for download.

Sincerely,

Kristyna
