Hi everyone

I recently bought a new computer and installed microsoft xp onto it. I then proceeded to install wordfast basic. It appears to be perfectly compatible and I am able to use wordfast with no problem at all. However, when I send the finished translation to the client, the document is cleaned automatically, which is not what the client desires. Does anyone know how I can prevent this from happening? I want to send my translations with the source and target texts both visible on the page.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Wordfast doesn't clean documents automatically Feb 15, 2012

Hi Jack,

Some clients want clean documents, some want uncleaned documents, so Wordfast doesn't clean them automatically. If you haven't applied Quick clean-up or Tools/Clean-up before sending your translation to the client (the normal workflow), the source segments will be still there. Ask your client to enable showing hidden text on their end.
