Dear Clara,

There is no problem. You do NOT need to backup anything except your own files.

You can download and install the latest version of Wordfast Professional and navigate the help pages available at:

Keep backup copies anyway Oct 24, 2012

WF are very good at helping you reinstall after reformatting, changing PCs or other incidents, but I recommend you keep a backup copy of all your TMs and glossaries etc just in case - I keep all mine on a pen drive no problem.

Back up the entire PC rather than just WF Oct 24, 2012

I'd rather think about how I can protect my computer in general than about protecting just WF. A pretty good backup setup is to back up the entire hard disk content (or image) at least once a week and back up folders with translation projects at least once a day. If you use Windows 7, you can use its internal backup tool.

Thank you to all of you! I do not have Windows 7, but I'll do as neilmac suggests, I'll make a backup of everyhing!
Thanks for all your tips!
