Hello and help!

Im using WF Pro 3 on windows.

When I tried to "Save translated file" this morning, got weird error messages about Java script.
So I deleted all versions of Java, then downloaded the latest version.

Tried again to "Save translated file" in WF Pro, and now get this error message:

"Aspose failed to read content. Check logs for more information."

and it SAVES NOTHING AT ALL!!! How am I supposed to send the translated doc to the client tomorrow!?!?!

Please, does anyone know how to fix this or get around it?

Id be so grateful!
Cynthia

tried on another computer, same thing Oct 24, 2012

I installed WF Pro demo on my husband's Mac, then tried again to save the translated file--and I got the same error message!!!

Could this be because WF Pro 3 isnt compatible with the latest Java release 7?

I am starting to panic as this is due tomorrow and its 10 000 words....

Memory Preferences Oct 24, 2012

Dear Cynthia,

First of all, are you sure you are on the latest version of WF Pro? Please go to Help menu > About Wordfast.

Please go to Edit > Preferences > Memory Preferences, and raise it to the third value. Restart WFP and see if this helps.

I hope this helps. Please let me know.

Kind regards,
Yasmin

SEEMS TO HAVE WORKED Oct 24, 2012

Hi Yasmin,

yes when the first problems appeared, I deleted old Java, installed new java, and downloaded the latest version of Wordfast to see if that was the problem.

I followed your instructions and raised the memory and it seems to have worked! I at least got a Word document, although the formatting is a bit weird even though I moved all the placeables...

I'll make due with it at this stage.

Although I am fairly computer literate, it seems every time I use WF Pro there is some kind of bizarre problem always near the end when I have to send to clients and no time for computer bugs....which discourages me about using it, to be honest....

thanks for your help though, you've saved me!
Cynthia
