If you don't like the (IMO) ugly default font in Wordfast Pro's editor, change it to something else!

Thanks Feb 22, 2013

Must admit the font section was one of those sections in the Preferences that I knew existed but had never bothered to touch, didn't really see the point, however your video prompted me to change it (though I changed it to tahoma 13, I like having big letters) and I must admit I'm sorry I didn't do this years ago, it's made a big difference and I've only been using it for a few hours.

Thanks.

I realize the font size depends on the type of display you have (I'm a laptop guy, and on a laptop display, 13 is often too big) and on your own vision. Generally speaking, sans-serif fonts like Tahoma, Verdana, Calibri, Helvetica etc. are more legible than serif fonts like Times New Roman, although this is also a matter of personal taste. And within serif fonts, there are fonts that are more legible than Times New Roman, eg. Cambria.

I think Wordfast should make a poll within a part of its user base, showing them screenshots of the TXML editor with various fonts and asking them which one they would consider most suitable.

Hi All,

Per Dominique's request, we have published a survey regarding the default font of the TXML editor. Please take this survey and let us know what you think -

https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ZT7R7BP

Also, please remember that you can change the font at anytime by going to Edit > Preferences > Colors and Fonts.

Sincerely,

Kristyna
