Hello,

while working with WF, now and then this message:

FOR REFERENCE ONLY Created on 07 Oct 04 at
08:51 by My name My surname
Subject:Electronics Client:LionSoft Corp

is displayed.
What's that. How can I remove it?

You probably just clicked on the "Display Translation memory" button, the fourth button from the right.

Click it again, and it will go away

But it's actually very handy to know who created the segment, the date, why a certain translation is proposed as a match, etc.

These are default details that you can change according to subject and client or however you organise your memories.

Appart from what Marie-Claude said (you must have accidentally pressed Ctrl+Alt+M), there's also a Pandora Box command (if you have it enabled) which shows the memory contents "as reference" when finding a similar/fuzzy match "Show_MemoryAtStart". If the underscore is removed, the command is Active. If you don't want it to show, leave the underscore.
