Getting this crashsystematically. I tried saving the source/target in old .doc format, etc, but no matter what I'm getting this:

Any idea? Has Wordfast done any work on the aligner since it first came out 2 or 3 years ago? It still looks so raw...

Use the WFA Aligner Dec 16, 2013

Hi Thomas,

I have passed the log file onto the WFP development team, however, I suggest you try the FREE Wordfast Anywhere AutoAligner. You can upload your source and target files to create a TM in Wordfast TXT or TMX format. Just create a free account at www.freetm.com and go to tools > Align your files.

As always, any data that you entrust to the Wordfast Anywhere server remains completely confidential and is permanently deleted from the server once the alignment is complete.

Sincerely,

Kristyna

If you look at the date stamp of the files found in C:\Program Files (x86)\Wordfast\Wordfast_Aligner\plugins, it's 10-Mar-2010, which means no work has been done on the aligner for almost four years.

You'd be better off looking at another aligner, for instance the Wordfast Online Aligner included in Wordfast Anywhere and mentioned by Kristyna, or LF Aligner.
