I wonder if there is a way to set up following issue in Wordfast:

I want to have empty target segments by default, but nevertheless have the suggestions of MT.
So far I only was able to empty the target segments by disabling MT.

I know that there is the icon "empty target segment" but I would like to avoid to have to do it for every single segment.

Thanks for your suggestions!

Assuming you are working in Wordfast Classic you can set the criteria "AllowEmptyTarget" in Pandora's box.

Good Luck

Hi Andrea,

You can try using ctl+down arrow and make sure to have "Perform TM Lookup automatically" checked under "Preferences > Translation Memory" and "Always Perform MT translation" (hmmm, that looks redundant: always perform Machine Translation translation!?) under "Preferences > Machine Translation".

Hope this helps,
