Wordfast and Excel: clicking Alt+Down doesn't start the translation

I open the Excel file, place the cursor on the first cell to be translated (without actually entering the cell). Then I open an empty Word document, start Wordfast and press Alt+Down... and nothing happens
Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?
Software details: Windows XP, Office 2003, Wordfast 5.51 (licensed).

Not sure if you've already done this, but...

...when you say 'place the cursor on the first cell', have you actually clicked on the cell (so that the cell is outlined)? If the cursor is just 'resting' on the cell, it won't work.
I fear this may not be of much help, but since nobody else has responded, I thought it might be worth checking.

Sorry if I didn't make myself clear. Yes, the cell is outlined (it is in a black box).

It works for me

I have just tried and it works: - open the file in Excel, put the cursor on the first cell - open Word, create a new TM or select one (reorganise it) - press Alt+Down.
But pay attention: I have to have just one file opened in Excel.
I hope you'll make it .
