PlusTools / +Align

1.) Open a new Word doc. If you have any other Word docs, close them. 2.) Copy the two-column table into it. 3.) Open PlusTools, click on the +Align tab. 4.) Choose "Create TM". When prompted, select the appropriate language codes. Attila

That is how I do it. Open the .xls file Selec the sheet you want to convert (in case the excel file has several sheets) File> Save as > Text (tab delimited) -Texto (delimitado por tabuladores) in the Spanish Version And that's all! You will get a .txt file in two columns.
Hope it helps! Idoia

Thanks for your help!. I tried to transform directly the excel file, but I didn't sort out: probably I was not able to do it. However, I tried to do it using PT and it was successful!

Wordfast Glossary

I often use the glossary. However, I've the following problem. I'll do an example to explain it. I insert TEETH (denti) Then in the text I find TOOTH. The system propagate the term DENTI, without considering it is different. The samne hannpens I know the system cannot "understand" but at least I would like it doesn't propagate the term and leaves it untranslated. This is quite dangerous and misleading. Hi Lucia, I think this kind of "recognition" only works if you actually activate the option "Use fuzzy terminology recognition" for each glossary. If you desactivate it, Wf won't recognise "teeth" in "tooth". Although, I find it strange Wf considers those 2 words belong together because I thought words should have several similar letters at their beginning so that it works (like: work>working>worker...)
Go to Glossary (1, 2 and/or 3) and look if this option is selected (click on it to deselect it). Also check if "tooth > denti" is not also in any glossary, you never know
Cheers
Emmanuelle
