Growing up in a communist country I was always interested in seeing the world behind the border. But that was not so easy for a while. So at least I started studying languages on my own when I was maybe 8 years old. One day the border was open and later on I left for studies in Germany, spent a study year in Japan and few months in Denmark, Belgium, Switzerland or Kenya. The doors were wide open and I was able to learn a lot about culture, politics, economics and to work on my skills and knowledge to become a bridge between people and cultures in a form of conference interpreter and translator. On the way I met many people from all the continents and worked in quite a few fields. And now here I am. Doing the best job I can imagine, learning new things and fields every day, struggling with my weaknesses while expanding my personal ‘borders’ and enjoying the opportunity to connect people an actually be the BRIDGE I wanted to be. And this all with the desire to help improving the life and the opportunities for many people in our beautiful world.
