Imagine someone gets a 10 the first time, then he gets a 3 in a second exam of the same course. The average is still a pass, but the teacher can decide to have the student repeat the second exam anyway. As far as I know, this is often used in high schools to prevent students from only making the effort to study once. BTW, I do not think 'promitjar' is a real word... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 9 mins (2005-05-11 21:17:41 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- in my school, they used to call it \"fer mitja\". I do not know how you would say it in English... |
