typo for soil wedge : coin de sol Explanation: Some detective work required here! Followed http://www.dict.pl/plen?word=soil&lang=PL which gives:klin odłamu - soil wedle Then lokked up klin in the Polish-French ProZ search and found "wedge" in relation to construction... As I don't know how to say "soil wedge" in French (although it is used... see http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q="soil wedge" construc... ) I found "Soil wedge polygons" which seem to be "Les polygones à coins de sol" http://www.arcticnet-ulaval.ca/Participants/Resume/3/CV-Mich... http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q="soil wedge" construc... But maybe French construction experts could confirm (or infirm). -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2006-06-05 15:15:34 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- LOOKED up - sorry! My typo this time :-) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2006-06-05 15:17:45 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Link to the ProZ.com term search I mentioned earlier: http://www.proz.com/kudoz/711184 |
