Explanation:
O terapeuta sexual é, geralmente, o psicólogo que se especializou em terapia sexual. Também pode ser um médico com a mesma especialização. Este profissional atua no consultório e tem um trabalho curativo.

O educador sexual teve a mesma formação do terapeuta (graduação, especialização, etc), mas preferiu seguir por outro caminho. Ele não atua em consultórios, mas sim em palestras, cursos, etc. A sua atuação é um trabalho preventivo.

Já a palavra "sexólogo" é utilizada para determinar as duas profissões.
