no interest paid on short-term available funds Explanation: I'm only guessing here, but could it be that it's a 'deposit' type account where most of the time the funds attract interest but that these funds can become available 'momentarily' (to pay suppliers etc) and at these times the account attracts no interest? |

interest will not be paid on funds which are available from time to time/for a short time Explanation: "From time to time" is a commonly used expression in banking (in the UK, at any rate) referring to anything which happens on a one-off or non-regular basis. So it could be a suitable translation ofr "momentanément" here. But there's an ambiguity - "momentanément" can also have the meaning of "temporarily, for a short time". Maybe your wider context suggests one particular interpretation? |
