D’autres éléments incontrôlables tels que les voitures, dont on dit souvent qu’elles abîment les rues et leurs perspectives, prennent également place dans son cadre. Et ces diverses figures viennent ponctuer l’espace, animer les combinaisons de surfaces et de matériaux, les formes à caractère géométrique ou baroque, parfois aux limites de l’abstraction, qui caractérisent les architectures contemporaines se profilant dans le paysage. Mais la tension la plus vive au sein de ces images réside surtout dans les rapports que ces architectures peuvent entretenir avec le patrimoine de la ville - exceptionnel ou ordinaire -.

Il "tendere verso" qualcosa è anche un'immagine dinamica e positiva,
la "tensione" di un arco idem... Credo che scegliere l'idea di contrasto è una interpretazione, l'idea di forza è giù più fisica e vicina ma ci sono tensioni "endemiche" che non si possono assimilare ad una vera e propria forza...
