Creation of a model primarily involves the creation of a profile Explanation: Instead of profile, you can also use shape, depending on the context. |

(This CAD modeling test) will mainly focus on geometry creation Explanation: 「を主体とします」は、いかようにも訳すことができますが、なんとなくテストの説明に出てきそうな文句を書いてみました。「形状作成」は、イメージした形状をCADで具象化するもの、いう意味だと思うので、geometry operations が含まれるでしょうから、geometry creationを指していると思います。おそらく、会社にJIS 用語集を置いていらっしゃると思うので、それで確認されるか、これを書かれた方に確認した方がよいと思います。 |

Creating a form/shape/configuration will be the subject of making the model. Explanation: This is just my suggestion. I think that 主体 might be "subject" here because it apppears to be a noun and not a verb. Of course 作成 has many translations, so I used 2 different forms since that would be most natural in English (in my opinion). 形状 also has many translations, so I gave 3 very common ones of which any would be appropriate. Good luck! |
