roscagem e corte Language variant: roscar Explanation: I am positive that threading is "roscagem", as a substantive, or "roscar" as a verb. As to the term tailout I am rather taking it as a logical development of the process: if you are threading a rod and you must cut it into regular pieces you may be "tailing it out" Example sentence(s):
