Definition:

Community beds normally include features that allow them to be disassembled (knocked-down) into a
few main parts without use of a tool. Unless specified as suitable for use in hospitals, etc. they are at
risk of collapse if used in such environments.
BACKGROUND
1. Community beds are care beds which are suitable for use in community settings in place of
domestic beds. Their design is normally consistent with the standard for disabled beds, BS EN
1970:2000
(1)
which takes into account the need for disassembly into a few main parts for storage
and transportation (‘knock-down’). Their frames may be held together with hand-tightened
fasteners for assembly and disassembly without the use of a tool

Asker: thanks for the references, I've already viewed them but I still don't have a clue how to translate the term; I know more or less what it referes to but I new Polish term as I don't have space for discriptive translation
