...Das ist doch nur eine künstlerische Klammer. Wer behauptet, das sei eine Selbstmordversion, hat das Buch nicht gelesen. Wir wollten einen filmtauglichen Handlungsbogen schaffen. Wir haben uns gewünscht, daß er seinen Tod nur vorgetäuscht hat und sich über das Geschehene abhaut. Ein positives Ende also.
