Bonsoir,
J'ai peut-être fait une erreur dans le choix du domaine. Le terme n'est peut-être pas uniquement lié au vin.

Voici la phrase si besoin :
"She had known how it smelled, how it sounded as it was liberated from its bottle and poured into a waiting glass."

J'hésite entre un verre pour que le vin se décante et un verre pour le service.

Une autre idée, c'est comme si le verre attendait avec impatience que l'on verse le vin... Je crois que la même image marche aussi en français ? L'anglais utilise un registre assez élevé et "poétique", à mon avis (pas vraiment un vocabulaire technique)
