carbonates and sulphates (tested) Explanation: Made explicit in the reference sourced. Citation begins: "Sr isotopic data for carbonates and sulfates separated from Orgueil are given in Table 1. Because knowledge of the detailed nature of the samples strongly affects interpretation of these data, a brief description of each is given here. All samples were handpicked from bulk Orgueil with minimal processing, consisting only of disaggregation in double distilled acetone or methanol. Both carbonates and sulfates are light colored phases easily distinguished from most other components of Orgueil, but individual carbonate and sulfate species are much less easily identified optically. To conserve sample, only spot-checks of the separates were made by EDX analysis; the isotopic data indicate that not all separates were pare. Three different samples of the bulk meteorite, imaginatively labelled ORG-l, -2 and -3, were studied.
