ME sollte statt "as" ein "which" stehen. Und ich stimme der allgemeinen Meinung zu, dass es wohl nicht von einem Muttersprachler kommt. Der Inhalt jedoch typische Geheimhaltungsverpflichtung.

I believe it could be read as "such of the provisions...as (apply) to confidential information or knowledge" and the "but shall cease to apply" is inserted at that place to indicate that the provisions will not apply once the information is in the public domain.

One German equivalent would be "(solche) Bestimmungen, die sich auf vertrauliche Informationen und Mitwisserschaft (Kenntnis) beziehen (darauf anwenbar sind), aber nicht länger anwendbar sind, sobald sie....

oder einfach: die sich auf vertrauliche Informationen und ..anwendbaren/sich beziehenden Bestimmungen

"as" ist ein sprachlicher Rückverweis, so wie im Deutschen "an sich", "für sich" ist. Der Text meint hier eine Vetragsbeendung die vom Regelfall abweicht ohne jedoch widersprüchig gegenüber dem Regelfall zu sein.

das "as" am Ende hat seinen Sinn, weil es auf die Beendung besser rückverweist als wenn es in der Satzmitte steht.

Provisions regarding confidentiality often remain in effect for years after a contract has been terminated. But if confidential information later becomes public knowledge, a provision in the agreement that otherwise is to remain in effect will no longer apply.
