Tennis: Om man ikke får en vinner, er det vanlig å spille et «tie-break» for å avgjøre settet ved setscore 6-6. Spilles det ikke tie-break, vil man måtte fortsette å spille til første spiller leder med to game. Tie-break er et game hvor man bytter på å serve og teller poeng én, to, tre osv. Her gjelder førstemann til 7 poeng, men det kreves også her at man må vinne med minimum to poeng.

Et «set» består av en rekke game hvor man bytter annethvert game på å serve. I turneringer vil den første som vinner seks game med en minimum ledelse på to, vinne et set. Om man ikke får en vinner, er det vanlig å spille et «tie-break» for å avgjøre settet ved setscore 6-6.
