Je n'arrive pas à trouver une phrase équivalente à cette expression : "deemed construed so as to limit or restrict the liability"

Voici le contexte où est apparu la phrase :
The contractor shall not in any way attempt to limit or restrict the liability or be deemed construed so as to limit or restrict the liability of the contractor for death or personal injury to any person caused by the equipments.

ne sera pas interprété de façon à limiter ou restreindre la responsabilité
Explanation:
The idea is the following: It must not limit or restrict the liability [explicitely], nor be interpreted as limiting or restricting the liability.

The whole expression could therefore also be translated:
"...ne sera pas interprété de façon à limiter ou restreindre la responsabilité, que ce soit de façon explicite ou implicite"

Notes to answerer
Asker: Merci Alain, je pense proposer la phrase suivante : "... être considéré ou interprété de manière à limiter ou à restreindre la responsabilité de l'entrepreneur ... ". Les remarques sont toujours les bienvenues.

merci de me'enseigner sur la difference. C'est parce que vous chercher a copier la forme passive (souvent utilisee en anglais, mais rarement sur le Continent) que vous avez ces difficultes. J'ai voulu vous donner une forme differente et plus "lisse"

Notes to answerer
Asker: Merci atche, mais il y a bel et bien un *be* devant deemed. La forme est donc passive ... même en récrivant la phrase, l'entrepreneur (mon sujet) doit rester "passif" ! Merci encore.

Asker: Votre réponse, maintenant commentée, est désormais plus claire ! Merci ...
