Reading through the incoherence, it seems to be saying that liquid crystal devices can be manufactured with up to eight devices, as a unit (i.e. several devices 'joined' together), in a single (joint) operation on a single FPD glass substrate. This gives an idea of the size of the batch of joined devces that has to be 'stuck to and fixed' with high precision. 'stuck to' probably means 'picked up' (by a robot arm or something similar, maybe with a vacuum sucker system); 'fixed' means ... well... 'fixed'. |
