Can only imagine that "3D" means they are "preformed", as opposed to a bowl of cereal with milk, or the peanut butter and jelly sandwich our transAtlantic cousins might once have thrown together when they got back from school. I think in the good old days I used to call "3D snacks" "biscuits".
Still, there are new technological process up the road which will make "Don't play with your food" very much a thing of the past:
