Sump depth ser ut til å betegne dybden eller lengden av ustørknet metall inne i en kontinuerlig støp (støpe- /valsestreng), som størkner utenfra og innover. Har vi noen betegnelse for dette? Det ustørknede metallet betegnes 'marsh', og 'the extension of the marsh' ser ut til å brukes synonymt med 'sump depth' i teksten min. Noen som har metallurgisk erfaring her?
