I understand what it means of course but I'm struggling to find a fitting English equivalent...The phrase appears several times in the contract eg:

Par la suite, le Locataire versera au Bailleur a titre de dommages-interets fixes d'avance jusqu'a la fin du Terme complet, un montant correspondant au Loyer selon le taux prevu au present Bail, deduction faite de la somme des revenus nets (s'il en est) que le Bailleur tire de la remise en location des Lieux Loues.

agree  B D Finch: @ Chris's comment: never heard of "rerenting" - generally "renewal of tenancy" or "tenancy renewal" from the tenant's perspective.
