bare-tube spiral evaporator Explanation: Pretty much standard terms from Ernst. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 3 hrs (2010-04-10 12:02:26 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- In response to comment from Johannes: From Ernst: Schlangenkühler = spiral condenser or refrigerator, i.e. very similar technology. Google shows 2000+ hits for spiral evaporator -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 4 hrs (2010-04-10 12:16:23 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Note on timing: Basically "spiral" and "coil" are interchangeable. As my post was accepted, I saw that Jennifer had already posted her entry 2 mins. earlier, otherwise I would not have suggested an alternative with such a minor alteration. "coil" also sounds quite ok to me. |
