| Reference: "land" en este contexto... Reference information: En un cañón de ánima rayada, los "lands" son, precisamente, las estrías. Según se puede ver aquí (en el dibujo), "lands" son los espacios entre aros de un pistón (el "top land" es la "pared de fuego" (altura entre la cara superior del pistón y el primer aro) y las siguientes son las "paredes entre aros" ("ring land" y "recessed ring land"). Lo que no me cuadra es que yo estoy hablando de pistones y el texto hable de "bore", que evidentemente no es el pistón, sino el cilindro, a no ser que el cilindro (la cabeza del cilindro, más bien) presente conicidad.
