Hier wordt geloof ik toch echt meer benadrukt hoe de kwaliteit van de stof is, nl "soepel" en hoe daardoor het kledingstuk "valt". Er wordt niet zozeer de pasform= "fit" mee bedoeld idzv "het zit goed". Vooral jerseystoffen/slinkystoffen "vallen goed", hebben een "easy flow"

drapes well


Explanation:
In my experience, one says that a garment/fabric 'drapes' more than 'falls'. Drapability is a quality. A supple fabric like tricot or finely woven silk for example is usually more drapable than woven cotton canvas. Indeed, 'slinky' as HStobbe said.
In this case, it is more about the property of the fabric in the jacket than the fit (obviously they are related).

OED: DRAPE; hang or be able to hang in loose, graceful folds : velvet drapes beautifully.
