It's from this article about a Lebanese restaurant which serves traditional food:http://www.aawsat.com/details.asp?section=62&article=606883&...

I know حبوب can mean "grains" and "seeds", but in this case I wonder if it is actually referring to things like lentils and chickpeas? Pulses perhaps? It's just that grains and seeds are not what first springs to mind in traditional Arabic cooking.

depending on the context's register you could use either "legumes' or "peas and beans"
