Was verstehe ich hier falsch?

"Should a Candidate be made redundant within the first two months of employment with the Client the Consultancy is obliged to reimburse 75% of the fee. Before the payment is made the Consultancy has the right to present the Client with suitable replacements within two months after the date of resignation."

Ich dachte "redundant" bedeute, dass Personal "betriebsbedingt"entlassen wird, mit anderen Worten, Arbeitsplätze gestrichen werden. Doch wieso gibt es dann einen freigewordenen Arbeitsplatz, der neu besetzt werden kann, also das Beratungsunternehmen einen Ersatz für den entlassenen Kandidaten suchen kann?

Ausserdem heißt es weiter direkt darunter:

(b) Refunds will only be made where (i) the termination is not for redundancy nor is the result of a restructuring or reorganisation of the Client’s business and is otherwise lawful and in accordance with any applicable code of practice or the Candidate leaves of his or her own volition;
