Nie jestem przekonana, czy mam przetłumaczyć dosłownie "he can't steer a boat"... czy to jednak jakiś idiom, którego nie znalazłam na necie...

Ewentualnie zamiast sterować łodzią coś z motorówką - Pamela z Tommym byli chyba na ścigaczu :)

Chyba znalazłem. Nie widziałem tego filmu z Tommym i Pamelą :) ale z tego źródła wynika, że Tommy sterował łódkę za pomocą swojego... przyrodzenia.
