The website Buck quotes in his reference is hardly authoritative. "National Training for Acting as Victims" is, to my mind at least, a fairly ropey translation. Scroll down a little on the same page and you find sentences such as "impersonate a victim of an accident as if it where real" (sic) and "the stage of an scene must correct" (sic).
Incidentally, "National Training for Acting as Victims" (as a phrase) scores a massive three hits on Google, one of which is the website in Buck's reference and one of which is this page on Proz.com!
In other words: sure, anyone can do a Google search in two seconds or less, but the key issue is to exercise a little discrimination with the results of that search. |
