Dutch term or phrase: landering
Europese uitgever Metro International met 34 gratis edities van Metro, waaronder al in de Amerikaanse steden Philadelphia en Boston, bereidt de landering van de New Yorkse editie op 1 mei aanstaande voor.

there are too many hits to assume it's just a typo for lancering - but I am curious to know whether this is some kind of invented word - country launch ?

I seriously think this is a typo - given the proximity of c and d on the keyboard. The context also indicates this is correct.
