Your attributions in line 1 are wrong Explanation: Someone at the journal messed up in 2006. The authors you want to cite are as below, with surnames first and in capitals: ZHANG Li YU Ping BU Hong LI Shengfu LI Youping CHENG Jingqiu ZENG Yangzhi WANG Wei ZHANG Peng WANG Haihui WANG Yingjie LIU Hongling LIU Jun HUANG Yanping GUO Haitao WANG Yuming Hyphens are now generally not used in the names of people from the PRC. People from Taiwan still frequently use hyphens. |

see below.... Explanation: a- your first referencing is wrong, it should be Z. et al., 2006; b- ‘4. Zhang Li, Yu Ping, Li Shengfu, Zeng Yangzhi, Cheng Jingqiu, Li Youping, Bu Hong – should this be Zhang et al. or Li et al.?’。。。。。this is Zhang et al.; c- '5. Peng Zhang, Ping Yu, Wei Wang, Li Zhang, Shengfu Li, Hong Bu – should this be Peng et al. or Zhang et al.?'。。。this is Zhang et al.; d- 'Z. Li, L. ZHANG, Zhang Li, Li Zhang?.....' this judging by the way other names are referenced in the same group, would be surname Zhang, second name Li. e- '6. Hai-Hui Wang, Ying-Jie Wang, Hong-Ling Liu, Jun Liu, Yan-Ping Huang, Hai-Tao Guo, Yu-Ming Wang – should this be Hai-Hui et al. or Wang et al.?'。。。。this is Wang et al. |

4- L. Zhang, P. Yu, ...... Explanation: There are three ways to write names in English, for example for the name Edward(given name) Cheng(family name) You can write full name as it is: Edward Cheng, or E. Cheng (Initial given name and full family name) or Cheng, E. (family name with a comma, and then initial given name) but in profession journals , what ever the form you use, you need to be consistent, in this case, it is easier for you to change the 4-6 -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 9 hrs (2011-11-02 18:03:08 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- So in the 4, 5, 6, the names should be as follow: 4. L. Zhang, P. Yu, S. Li, Y.Zeng , J.Cheng, Y.Li , H. Bu 5. P.Zhang, P. Yu, W. Wang, L. Zhang, S. Li, H. Bu 6. H. Wang, Y. Wang, H. Liu, J. Liu, Y. Huang, H. Guo, Y. Wang 中国的双名翻成英文时,作为一个given name, 没有必要翻成Hai-Hui Wang, 翻成H. Wang 就行 Example sentence(s):
