Regarding عامل تجاری ...why do you want to use two words?...the English text seems to be "telegraphic" which is typical of "error messages". However, if it sounds better in Persian as two words, go with that.

Regarding "acquirer" take a look at this explanation of the whole electronic system

See the bottom of page 30. The diagrams also show how the system works. Acquirers and merchants work together, business-to-business.

پذیرنده is probably a good suggestion...maybe also تحویل گیرنده

From the examples in this and the other related questions, it is clear that the basic, generic meaning of merchant is someone (or some entity) in the business of selling (and/or buying) something. It could range from a small store owner to a large national chain store business. They are all referred to as "merchants" in the software you are translating.

If these merchants were only "sellers" then فروشنده would be OK, but I think that in the broad usage of "merchant" in your case, "merchant" includes both buyers and sellers who are in the network operated by the software your translation is referring to. I hope this helps clarify the situation.

Given this, and given that you are looking for one word that covers both "buying and selling" I would suggest تاجر or بازرگان

"merchant" is used vs "acquirer". based on "acquirer bank" I used "پذیرنده" for "acquirer". so I think "مسئول فروش" is an acceptable word for "merchant". Is there any better one based on this combination "merchant VS acquirer"?

In other instances you may use فروشنده (of course you should consider the unity of equivalents throughout your translation) , but in the sentence of current question, it doesn't seem suitable.
