English term or phrase: attic (in a funerary monument)
In un saggio su un sepolcro veneziano del 1522:

"As Maek-Gérard observed, the elevation of the tomb, from base through ***attic***, derives from the Arch of Titus at Rome"
"It is very likely that, when the three Mocenigo Tombs of the basilica’s retrofacade were incorportated into a single grandiose monument by Francesco Contin around 1646, the original crowning was changed and the uppermost ***attic*** was added to the Giovanni Mocenigo Tomb"
"The uppermost of the two ***attics***, whose uniformity of material, plain moldings, and lack of iconographical referents contrast with the colored marbles, articulated frames, and blazons of the lower ***attic***, was clearly contrived ad hoc"

Qualcuno sa come tradurre "attic" in italiano in questo contesto? Io non riesco a trovare riferimenti.
Grazie!
