O, más exactamente, aquí: "obtained without machining", porque se refieren a un cierto grado de acabado de superficie (rugosidad), que sí que, de no decirse lo contrario como se hace, sí que muy probablemente se obtendría por arranque de viruta. aunque se utilizaran abrasivos (rectificado) en lugar de cuchillas (torno, fresa...)
