If anyone can help with the meaning of "juntas, remates, cantos" in the context it would be much appreciated! This is a website for a steel service center that I'm translating from Spanish to English. The company is based in Spain and the target audience are American customers. Here is the paragraph that the phrase is taken from:

Formatos perfilados
Acero ondulado y trapezoidal. Chapa de una determinada longitud con un perfil específico según su posterior aplicación (ondulado, cuadrado, trapezoidal). Junto a la chapa perfilada, se entregan juntas y remates, que mejoran el acabado de los cantos y reducen los efectos de posibles deformaciones y variaciones geométricas.
También se fabrican correas en configuraciones C y Z, dependiendo de las necesidades.

Splice es eso, la junta (superpuesta), pero hay que particularizar en función del contexto: te pongo dos opciones posibles, pero que naturalmente no agotan las posibilidades.

El "ledge profile" es como se traduce "perfil para remate" según IATE (http://iate.europa.eu/iatediff/SearchByQuery.do?method=searc... en este contexto.

"canto" es aquí "edge" (y como supongo que se trata de chapas finas, los cantos presentarán "sharp edges".
