English term or phrase: rotating band
no context.
It's a list of possible defects of a 40/70 mm round of ammunition. It simply says "rotating band is broken"; and later "presence of corrosion around the rotating band". I was wondering whether there exists a specific term or I should translate it as “вращающееся кольцо“. Заранее спасибо!
